Founded in 1997, The Arsh Group Inc. is a professional collaborative led by the principal, Taghi Arshami, AICP, ASLA. Based in Merrillville, Indiana, a community in northwest Indiana and part of the Chicago Metropolitan area, the firm works throughout the Midwestern United States. The firm has built a varied body of work ranging from urban planning to affordable housing, mixed use, civic, and not-for- profit projects. The Arsh Group's collaborative approach extends to its successful use of client and community workshops in the planning and design process. The work of the office is noted for its understanding of place, its authenticity and its inventive optimism.
